Steps to purchase a product
We will help you implement Clean Press tailored to your specific requirements all the way from testing to quotation.
Inquiry from our website
Please feel free to request the catalog or make an inquiry via the inquiry form.
Check sheet entry
Nogamigiken will ask for details such as the shape you need, the material you use, the quality you require, and other relevant conditions to select the product specifications that meet your needs.
Material processing test
Nogamigiken conducts a processing test using the actual material to check if the desired processing quality can be achieved. You can choose between two test options according to your preference.
Sharing and evaluation of test results
Nogamigiken shares the results of the material processing test with you and evaluate the processing quality of the material.
Finalization and determination of detailed specifications
Based on the test results and the desired application and conditions, Nogamigiken proposes the optimal specifications and provides a quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the punching dimensions?
The Clean Press, Cassette type punching jig consists of two products: a cassette die and a dedicated press machine. You can change the punching dimensions and shape by replacing the cassette die.
How soon can I receive the product after placing an order?
Basically, the product will be delivered after payment is made in advance. We can ship ready-made standard products within one to two days after confirming your payment. Please ask us about their availability by submitting the inquiry form. On the other hand, custom-made products, tailored to your requested size and shape, are produced after order placement. Delivery takes approximately 7 to 9 weeks after payment and final specification agreement, depending on the specifications.
Can I test the product before purchasing?
You can choose one of the following options for a material processing test before purchasing the product.
- Sending the material to Nogami laboratory
- Requesting rental of a demonstration machine
Both of these options are available for free.
Please note that shipping costs and taxes associated with sending the material or lending a demonstration machine are normally borne by both the customer and Nogamigiken or may be borne solely by the customer. Our sales representative will provide you with further details. As a first step, please feel free to contact us using the inquiry form.
Does the product come with an instruction manual?
Yes, the product will be delivered with an English instruction manual.
Moreover, it also includes a
maintenance kit for daily maintenance. If you have any questions or problems when using the product, please
feel free to contact us.
Can you process solid electrolytes for sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries?
Yes, we have experience in processing wet-coated solid electrolytes. However, for thick powder-molded ASSBs, Clean Press using a cassette type punching jig may cause cracking and chipping. To solve this problem, we also provide dedicated jigs capable of handling such molded materials and brittle silicon anode materials. For details, please feel free to contact us via the inquiry form.
Can I use the product for continuous processing?
Yes, you can. As a product option, you can also add a set of optional tables and a press base raise mount to improve operability for small-volume production. You can try this option when borrowing a demonstration machine, so please feel free to contact us.
I want to use the product for small-volume production. What is the recommended maintenance cycle?
It depends on the material, thickness, and punching size of the workpiece. Based on our experience with lithium-ion battery anode materials, many customers performing an average of 2,000 punches per month carry out regrinding maintenance once every 2-3 years.
Is the product covered by a warranty?
The warranty period for our products is one year from the date of shipment from our factory. For details on product warranty provisions, please contact us.
Do you sell the product in foreign countries?
Yes, we have experience in selling and exporting our products to the United States, Europe, and other countries. Please feel free to contact us even if your sales or delivery destination is outside Japan.
